Past Projects

The Folkestone Performing Arts Centre was proud to take part in the Global Day for Climate Justice held next to the Town Council in Folkestone.

FPAC, in association with the Making Waves Art Festival, facilitated in school workshops addressing plastic use with the aim of creating or restarting / supporting school eco-councils.  As part of the workshops, students had the opportunity to create upcycled pieces of art for the November 2021 festival in Folkestone.

On the 14th of August 2021, the students of Canterbury College and St. Stella Maris R C Primary School came together to create something incredible, ‘A Little Panto By The Sea’. A newly devised piece of theatre on the topic of Plastic Pollution. The piece was performed at the Amphitheatre in Lower Leas Park and each creative put their all into creating the ‘Guerilla Pantomime’ production. You can find out more out the creatives below.
